It’s Time to Switch to Digital TV!

Your television is going to change –– for the better. KCET is here to help you make the switch.

At midnight on February 17, 2009, every full-power television station will switch from an analog (over-the-air) signal to an all-digital format. This change marks the end of traditional analog broadcasting but not the end of free broadcast television. All your favorite programs on KCET will still be available free of charge.

To help you get through the transition, we’ll provide you with the information you need to watch KCET and your other favorite channels after the switch on February 17, 2009. We’ve also set-up a DTV Customer Service Hotline for you at 1-800-282-0964. You can call from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Thanks for supporting us. And enjoy the new digital KCET.

Need Some More Help?

KCET is pleased to offer help, advice, information and technical tips to help you through this transition. Our goal is to help you find answers and solutions to all your digital TV questions. However, there may be some questions that require more technical support than we are able to provide. And because KCET reaches a large and geographically diverse area, some viewers may face other challenges that will also require more customized assistance. In both of these instances, please contact the 24–hour DTV Consumer Hotline at 1–888–DTV–2009 or 1–888–388–2009
Thank you.
