Two Audio Control rooms equipped with Yamaha DM 2000 consoles providing as many as 96 inputs and 48 outputs (both analog and digital). A full selection of audio effects internal to the console as well as many outboard effects units including classic UREI1176 and LA-4limiters. Aphex 1788 remote controlled fiber optic microphone pre-amps and M&K Audio Monitors. Four DIGICART II digital audio cart machines, CD Player, DAT Record/Playback, MOTU digital Audio Workstation and GENTNER TELEMIX on air phone system.

Full RTS ADAM communications System with 8 RF P.L. channels each with 4 beltpacks. Audience audio package includes Soundcraft Delta 200 32 input P.A. console, and/or Mackie 16 input foldback system. A large selection of Neumann, AKG, Sennheiser and Shure microphones are available as well as 30 channels of Lectrosonic RF microphone systems with a choice of Counrtyman, Sennheiser, Sanken and Electrovoice RF microphones, We offer an ISDN line with a Telos Zephyr for on site and remote recording.

KCET studios are equipped with a pin rail lighting grid system that flies in and out for easy accessibility. We have an extensive lighting inventory and state-of-the-art STRAND LIGHTING CD 80 SV DIMMER PACKAGE with a STRAND 530 control board available for your lighting needs.

KCET offers non-linear SDI and HD editing with Avid Adrenaline and Nitris Symphony edit bays. There are several storage options available within the Unity storage system.

Our two digital linear bays offers an EDITWARE VPE Series 351 editing system with a Textronix Profile PDR-200-4 video server, Grass Valley 1200 digital switcher, Pinnacle 2 channel DVEXTREME (16x9 switchable), Chyron MAX with 2 channels (16x9 switchable), Sony Digi-Beta VTR's, Graham-Patten D/ESAM mixing board, Foster D25 DAT machine and a Denon DN-680 CD player.

Freelance editors are available.

KCET has a Vortex 4.8 meter Ku dish capable of HD and SD transmission on a nationwide scale. It can handle simultaneous HD/SD transmissions. We have C-Band satellite technology capable of receiving from most major communications satellites and a permanently installed stereo transmit and receive loop to the Pacific Bell hub in Los Angeles. We also offer live shot uplink capability from our stage facilities.

KCET offers a standing set with four pre-lit positions that can serve as a news desk or a talk show set. We can offer several different backgrounds and the set is a great alternative for live shots.

KCET offers 5 fully equipped ENG MINI-CAM VANS. Each unit offers a SONY 790 WS camera with digi-beta recording capability, tripod, 4 batteries and charger. The basic lighting compliment includes 3 peppers, 2 rifa's and miscellaneous lighting equipment. The audio package includes a SHURE FP 33 sound mixer, LECTRO-SONIC wireless lav and HH mics, boom pole, shotgun mic and harness.

For High Definition field acquisition, there are three Sony F 350 HD XDCAM units available.

KCET has flexible office space for your staff needs. Offices are fully furnished and have high speed (Dedicated Full T1 to DS 3 speed) internet connections including WI-FI. The lot features a 350 space parking structure and 24-hour security.

KCET has a permanently installed PBX phone system capable of handling 200 incoming calls simultaneously in various configurations. We can integrate your "800" number, or provide an "800" number that works with our incoming call system. The phone system is ideal for telethons and phone-a-thons.

KCET provides full crewing of stage and technical staff.
