KCET Airs Live 2012 Presidential Election Coverage from BBC World News
Burbank, CA - November 02, 2012 - With the economy as a
critical campaign issue, the impact of this year's Presidential Election will be
global. KCET, the nation's largest independent public television station
serving Southern and Central California, announced it will air live,
uninterrupted coverage of the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election from global news
leader, BBC World News, presenting
the bigger picture.
With anchor Katty Kay, BBC World News will be reporting on the
U.S. election as it unfolds, with updates from correspondents on the ground from
key voting areas. The telecast begins at 3:30
p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 6.
In addition, KCET.org will provide live California election results. Ballot Brief will deliver breaking information, with the latest poll percentages on races and proposition votes, as well as all Los Angeles election news and last-minute cheat sheets for any voters still mulling over this election's ballot measures.
