KCET and Link TV to Air Documentaries from the lynda.com "Creative Inspirations" Series Profiling Notable Artists in Photography, Illustration and Storytelling
Burbank, Calif. - April 7, 2014 - National independent transmedia network KCETLink and online education company lynda.com have announced a new broadcast initiative featuring documentaries from the lynda.com "Creative Inspirations" series, a collection of films showcasing creative leaders, inventors and experts in their fields.
With introductions by lynda.com founders Lynda Weinman and Bruce Heavin, the series will premiere on April 30, 2014 at 8 p.m. PST on KCET and 8 p.m. EST on Link TV. The first documentary, "Jerry & Maggie: This Is Not Photography," features the surreal photography of groundbreaking husband-and-wife artists Jerry Uelsmann and Maggie Taylor. Upcoming documentaries will showcase the work of award-winning multimedia journalist/producer Richard Koci Hernandez and prolific designer/illustrator Stefan G. Bucher.
