KCET CONTINUES INTERNATIONAL COVERAGE WITH NEWSCASTS

EACH WEEKDAY FROM 4:00 - 7:00 PM

Los Angeles - February 18, 2011 - KCET, the country's largest independent public television station, continues to offer an international news block with diverse perspectives each weekday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The line-up includes:

International News Block: Mondays through Fridays (until further notice)

4:00 - 4:30 p.m. Al Jazeera English News (live feed)

4:30 - 5:00 p.m. IBA News (Israeli Broadcast Authority on two-hour delay)

5:00 - 5:30 p.m. BBC World News (live feed)

5:30 - 6:00 p.m. NHK Newsline (on 90-minute delay)

6:00 - 6:30 p.m. BBC World News (live feed)

6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Al Jazeera English News (live feed)

Note for the week of February 21 - 25, KCET will offer an additional weekday newscast:

11:00 - 11:30 p.m. Al Jazeera English News (live feed)
