Alex Schmidt is a journalist, sometime artist, and nearly lifelong Angeleno. Her work has aired on “Morning Edition,” “All Things Considered,” and “Marketplace,” and has appeared in print outlets including The Los Angeles Times and GOOD Magazine. She has covered the evolution of parades in Philadelphia, participatory budgeting in Colombia, the school commutes of homeless children in LA, and has received AP and SPJ Awards
for her reporting.
