Annie Buckley

Annie Buckley is an artist, writer, and educator based in Los Angeles. Her interdisciplinary work embraces photography, writing, collage, and collaboration and has been included in numerous exhibitions. Annie’s writing about contemporary art and culture has been published in several magazines including The Huffington Post, Artforum, Art in America, Artillery, and Make Magazine. She is the author of more than twenty non-fiction books for children and adolescents, a collection of short stories, and the novel Psychic Outlaws. Annie is an Assistant Professor of Visual Studies at Cal State University, San Bernardino where she teaches courses in Community-based Arts, Contemporary Art and Theory, and Art and Human Development.
