Remnants, discarded items and abandoned structures influence the works showcased in this multidisciplinary exhibit as ten artists comment on the ideals of contemporary society.

Community Arts

Posada at La Casa de la Raza, Cesar E. Chavez Center

Friday, December 14 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Traditionally a Latin American, 9-day celebration, posadas recognize and commemorate the journey taken by Mary and Joseph before the birth of Jesus. This one-day, event features live entertainment including a colorful performance by Ventura-based ballet folklorico group, Alma de Mexico.
