The 2012 Spring KCET Cinema Series ended last night with a screening of "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the NoHo Arts District. The film was the last of nine that were screened during this series.
About the film:
Several British retirees travel to India to take up residence in what they have been told is a newly restored hotel that turns out to be anything BUT. Nevertheless the charms of the Marigold Hotel take hold as we get to know its new inhabitants. Stars Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Dev Patel. Directed by John Madden.
