Last night, KCET Cinema Series audience members watch "50/50," Will Reiser's comedy about cancer.
About the film:
Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as an otherwise healthy 27-year-old who gets suddenly diagnosed with cancer. The film follows the drama that unfolds when each of the people closest to him react differently to his diagnosis.
After the screening, host Pete Hammond moderated a Q&A with actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Producers Evan Goldberg and Ben Karlin. They conversation revolved around the real life experience with cancer of writer Will Reiser, the producer's friendship, and audience reactions to the film.
Here are some pictures taken at the screening, enjoy!
What did you think about the film? Did it strike the right balance? Tell us in our Fall KCET Cinema Series discussion board!
Picture also taken by Nadya Zhuravleva.
