Last night, Cinema Series audience members watched the George Clooney directed political drama, "The Ides of March."
About the film:
Based on the play Farragut North, this gripping political thriller is about an idealistic staffer (Ryan Gosling) who learns about the seamy side of politics when he works for a Presidential candidate. George Clooney, Evan Rachel Wood, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti co-star in this brilliant adaptation written and directed by Clooney.
After the film, host Pete Hammond led a Q&A with Oscar winning film editor Steven Mirrione, who has worked with George Clooney many times. The audience asked questions about the amount of film that had to be worked with and the relationship between the director and the film editor. Here are some pictures taken at the event, with some shots of happy film goers!
So, what did you think about the film? Tell us in our Fall Cinema Series discussion board!
