Q&A, Earth to Echo screening

Writing for KCET.org has clearly paid off for Henry Gayden with the release of his first feature film Earth to Echo, directed by first time feature director Dave Green. A regular writer for our famous Food blog, Henry is the screenwriter of this wonderful new sci-fi buddy pic reminiscent of classics like 'Stand By Me', 'E.T' and 'The Goonies'.

The film is told from the perspective of the 13 year old central characters who are spending their last night together as best friends before being forced to move due to the construction of a new freeway. Their night takes a turn when they make a stunning discovery and meet a special creature that is trying to get home.

Henry and Dave joined Pete Hammond for a delightful Q&A, even offering birthday boy Pete some birthday cake while discussing the pressure of shooting a film with special effects in just 28 days, working with young actors and the creation of 'Echo'...
