Broad Green Pictures' "A Walk In The Woods" played to a full house on opening night of the KCET Cinema Series. The theater was filled with movie enthusiasts and organizations such as Pacific Crest Trail Association, U.S. Forest Service and National Park Service.

Academy Award-winner Robert Redford stars as celebrated travel writer Bill Bryson, who challenges himself to hike the Appalachian Trail instead of retiring to enjoy his loving beautiful wife (Academy Award-winner Emma Thompson) and large happy family. Directed by Ken Kwapis, A Walk in the Woods is based on Bill Bryson's memoir A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail.

Director Ken Kwapis, producer/screenwriter Bill Holderman and producer Chip Diggins joined host Pete Hammond for an engaging post-screening Q&A.

Listen below to the conversation between Pete, Ken, Chip and Bill.

A big thank you goes out to Whole Foods 5th & Wilshire who generously sponsored the wine reception prior to the screening.
