Producers Todd Black and Guymon Casady talked about their new film "Hope Springs" (Opening Aug. 8th) at the KCET Cinema Series. Series host Pete Hammond led a Q&A with the pair at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica.
Black and Casady explained how Meryl Streep became the star of the film and her role in bringing in Tommy Lee Jones. The two successful producers then talked about how they found the script, the difficulty of making this kind of movie for a big studio, and more.
