It's a familiar sight these days and the inspiration behind the script that led to next week's KCET Cinema Series offering, the riveting drama "Disconnect."

"Disconnect" chronicles the darker aspects of our wired lives through the interweaving of multiple stories based on real events. Alexander Skarsgard and Paula Patton star as a young couple whose secrets have been exposed online. Jason Bateman stars as a driven lawyer and distraught father to a cyber-bullied son. Frank Grillo plays a widowed ex-cop whose son does the cyber-bullying. And Andrea Riseborough plays an ambitious journalist who sees a story in Max Thieriot's character, a teen who performs in online porn. Directed by Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker Henry-Alex Rubin ("Murderball", 2005) in his first fiction feature, "Disconnect" is out in theaters on April 12th.

After our preview screening, producer William Horberg and screenwriter Andrew Stern stop by for a Q&A with host Pete Hammond to give you an inside look into the making of the film.
