Previewing 'Hello I Must Be Going'

"Hello I Must Be Going"
Q&A with star Melanie Lynskey
August 28, 7 PM
Aero Theater
1328 Montana Avenue, Santa Monica

It's opening night at KCET's Cinema Series and it promises to be a spectacular one! First up on the schedule is the charming indie comedy "Hello I Must Be Going". Selected as the opening night film at Sundance, Todd Louiso's "Hello..." marks critically acclaimed star Melanie Lynskey's much deserved breakout role.

Lynskey is down-on-her-luck Amy, a recent divorcée forced by circumstance to move back home with her parents (Blythe Danner and John Rubinstein). Floundering in a sea of her troubles, it isn't until Amy meets 19-year-old Jeremy (Christopher Abbott) that things begin to look up. As Amy carries on an affair with her much younger counterpart, she's instilled with a new-found sense of passion and purpose in this funny, sexy, and unconventional love story.

The best part? Melanie Lynskey (of 'Heavenly Creatures', 'Ever After', 'Up in the Air', and 'Two and a Half Men' fame) joins host Pete Hammond for a Q & A after the screening!
