Passionate relationships are often victims of time and routine, but is it possible for ardor to be reignited again? Even after decades of marriage? David Frankel's new Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, and Steve Carell helmed romantic comedy, "Hope Springs", takes us into the world of one couple with the guts to try to find out for themselves.
Despite their many years of devotion to each other, Kay (Streep) and Arnold (Jones) have fallen into a rut with no discernible way out - that is, until Kay discovers a renowned couple's specialist (Carell) in the small town of Great Hope Springs. Convincing reluctant Arnold to attend the week-long therapy retreat is a mission in itself, but it isn't until they arrive that the difficult business of falling in love all over again can begin.
Host Pete Hammond leads a Q & A after the screening with producer Todd Black ("Antwone Fisher", "The Pursuit of Happyness", "The Taking of Pelham 123", "The Great Debaters")!
