Julianne Moore stars as said heroine, a single, middle-aged English teacher who enjoys a quiet, uneventful life when it's suddenly turned on its head with the arrival of her former student, the once-promising Jason Sherwood (Michael Angarano). Jason's failed attempt to make it in New York as a playwright have him demoralized and considering succumbing to his domineering father's (Greg Kinnear) wishes to attend law school instead. Unable to bear the thought of Jason giving up on his dreams, Linda elicits the help of the school's quirky drama teacher (Nathan Lane) to mount Jason's ambitious and angst-ridden play as the high school's latest theater production. Things only spiral from there as Linda's risks in life and love prove to have some hilariously comic consequences. Also starring Lily Collins and Jessica Hecht, "The English Teacher" is out in theaters on May 17th.

After our screening, director Craig Zisk ("The Big C," "Weeds," "United States of Tara") and screenwriters Dan and Stacy Chariton join us for a Q&A with guest host and industry insider Madelyn Hammond!
