Think the two polar bears above are cute? While they are undeniably adorable, they are also victims of global warming. Come to the Hammer as two experts on the subject discuss the consequences and dangers of global warming and extracting coal for electricity.

Jeff Biggers is the author of Reckoning at Eagle Creek: The Secret legacy of Coal in the Heartland and consultant for the U.S. Department of Energy Cleo Paskal's latest book is Global Warming: How Environmental, Economic, and Political Crises Will Redraw the World Map.

"ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Tickets are required, and are available at the Billy Wilder Theater Box Office one hour prior to start time. Limit one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
