Love sports and kids? If so, come get involved with L.A. Works and KEEN L.A.! This is the perfect opportunity for volunteers to bond with youth through a mutual love of sports.

Twice monthly, L.A. Works volunteers join KEEN L.A. to pair up with participating athletes and serve as a volunteer coach for a variety of non-competitive athletic activities. Activities, including soccer, gymnastics and track & field, are tailored to each athlete's needs and designed to promote the athlete's sense of accomplishment.KEEN L.A. is a nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities. KEEN L.A.'s mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities.
Exact location will be given to volunteers once they've signed up.

The series starts June 5th at 7 p.m. at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica with a screening of "Magic of Belle Island," a film staring Morgan Freeman.
