Every Saturday morning in the fall, L.A. Works will co-sponsor "Let's Read," a multi-week program created to connect its volunteers and the youth from Pueblo del Rio and learn from each other.
Volunteers will be able to work individually or in a group with youth to improve their literacy skills. Are you looking for a way to get involved? The L.A. Works website puts it best: "If your enthusiasm for kids is as great as your love of learning, then this program is for you."
For more information on this volunteer opportunity, and others, check out the L.A. Works website.
