Concerned about politicians spending record-breaking amounts of cash in their campaigns this election season? You're not alone. Join the Hammer and guests in a forum on these million dollar fueled election campaigns.
From the Hammer:
"With more money than ever pouring into political campaigns, how do we ensure that average citizens have a voice and that candidates represent people and not money? Bob Edgar, former congressman and head of Common Cause, the nation's leading advocate for campaign finance reform, and Jessica Levinson, director of political reform at the Center for Governmental Studies, join us to offer alternatives to money-driven political campaigns.
"ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Tickets are required, and are available at the Billy Wilder Theater Box Office one hour prior to start time. Limit one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Parking is available under the museum for $3 after 6:00pm."
