This Saturday, the Skirball Cultural Center will bring you a free matinee in its Passport Screening series, which features films that explore art, music, and culture throughout the world. Catch the moving film based on Joni Mitchell, who has been hailed as one of the "greatest songwriters ever," by Rolling Stone Magazine. Catch behind the scene interviews with fellow musicians and loved ones, as well as pieces of Mitchell's childhood and past, all which have served as inspiration for her moving lyrics.

KCET's quarterly screening series is back for Summer! Join us as we preview eight major new films prior to their local release. Get exclusive audio podcasts, the schedule of upcoming films and more. The series starts June 5th at 7 p.m. at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica with a screening of "Magic of Belle Island," a film staring Morgan Freeman.
