The REDCAT brings you one of the most critically-acclaimed choreographers in the nation, Tere O'Connor, for a night of beautiful dance and movement. His performances are always a can't-miss, and audiences will be enthralled by the enriching fuse of music and dance.
From REDCAT:
In his latest evening-length work, Wrought Iron Fog, O'Connor's richly layered choreographic structure highlights unexpected shifts in rhythm and mood as it builds complex relationships with his five idiosyncratic performers. Through often-surprising, continuous dancing, they generate a dynamic network of disparate ideas while at times revealing interior psychologies that remain ghosted beneath the surface of the dance. The result is a moving essay on the nature of human consciousness in the form of beautifully sculpted movement. O'Connor's work has won him international acclaim and commissions for such important companies as Lyon Opera Ballet and the White Oak Dance Project.
