The Getty Villa in Malibu nods to its Mediterranean past with Tea by the Sea, a quaint lunchtime event where guests enjoy savory food and drinks inspired by the vegetables, fruits, and herbs growing in the revived Roman gardens.

Feast on a Mediterranean-inspired menu of savory panini, sweet scones and tea breads, and gourmet cakes and tarts--along with fruits, cheeses, and a varied selection of teas. Wine and prosecco are available for a small additional charge.
Tea is served in the Founders' Room overlooking the Villa grounds, and afterwards, guests continue the afternoon with a docent-led tour of the gardens and galleries.
