The author Laura Lippman, best known for her novels about newspaper reporter turned private investigator Tess Monaghan, will discuss and sign copies of her new standalone book, "And When She Was Good."

The novel tells the story of Heloise Lewis, who runs a boutique lobbying firm and leads a double life as the head of a high-class prostitution ring. The New York Times called it "a steady, surprising tale."
