Barrel-aging alcohol has always been a popular pastime, and it's about time we stopped to celebrate the process. The Victorian in Santa Monica is hosting a revelatory evening of booze and beers, all in the name of barrel aging. There will be ten different breweries, four different distilleries and several bartenders on hand to gin up some fancy cocktails on the spot. At $40 a ticket for four hours of drinking, this is likely to be a party for the ages.
