Is it true -- does no one really walk in Los Angeles? This lecture, held as part of Social Media Week in L.A., seeks to challenge that assertion, and they've brought along a few heavy hitters for the discussion. Catherine Geanuracos is on the CicLAvia board, which works to promote open L.A. streets a few times a year for enjoyment and exercise. Don "Roadblock" Ward is a founding member of Wolfpack Hustle, the influential cycling group. Deborah Murphy is the founder of Los Angeles Walks and Carter Rubin is a Metro insider from the Southern California Streets Initiative. All will be on hand to discuss traffic, pedestrians, and how our city uses its streets.
