With more than a week before October the month, Oktober the Fest is here at Wirtshaus on La Brea. The German-style sausage and pilsner emporium is planning lots of great stuff to start their party month in style, including live music and a ceremonial first keg tapping, with drinks from the keg free until it runs dry. Prinz Frederic von Anhalt, a German socialite most noted for marrying the much older Zsa Zsa Gabor, will be on hand because, well, why not?
