Now in its third year, the monthlong participatory drawing festival known as the Big Draw LA hosts its flagship event at the newly opened Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles.
From the event website:
Paper will stretch the entire length of Grand Park to make one long drawing from one end of the park to the other--capturing the look and spirit of Grand Park. Ryman Arts students will lead the drawing efforts, engaging the public to join in for this enormous collaborative art project. The continuous drawing project will be photographed and ultimately showcased as a "scrolling panorama" online.
