Longtime director Oliver Stone is in the final stages of an upcoming 10-part documentary series for Showtime entitled The Untold Store of the United States. As such, he's teamed up with author and professor Peter Kuznick for a night of excerpts and storytelling from their joint book at Book Soup in West Hollywood. Always one known for strong opinions and politicized discussions, Stone's documentary series (and accompanying book of the same name) should be filled with interesting nuggets not commonly found on the pages of American textbooks. You can hope for much the same at his Book Soup reading / signing.

I just sent an email, and I am begging you please to let Mr. Stone read this. I am respectfully asking for this, and I'm sure Mr. Stone will give it more than a glance. We need a voice, and this has to be fixed. It's not a boring story, and please help us.
