Begun more than thirty years ago, The Club Culinaire of Southern California is a collection of restaurant owners, chefs, cooks and many, many others associated with the industry. The purpose, then as now, was to enjoy the foods of their own labor, and discuss at length the industry they had devoted their life to. Now, the burgeoning club hosts their own large-scale gala events, particularly their seasonal dinner dance. Anyone and everyone is welcome (plus the cost of admission, of course), with a five-course meal and wine pairings to accompany the 5:30pm pre-dinner reception and late night dancing.
