The long-running ALOUD series at downtown's Central Library is always provocative, but perhaps never more so than Jon Meacham's sit down conversation with Bill Maher on Tuesday, November 27th at 7pm. Meacham is a longtime historian and Pulitzer-prize winning author, as well as the executive editor for Random House. For his part, Bill Maher is the hyper-liberal talk show host and political commentator everyone loves to discuss. His intersection of stand up comedy and politics have kept him wonderfully divisive for more than two decades. The pair will be discussing the changing nature of power and politics.
