It's nice to know that authors David Sax and Jonathan Gold love their grandmothers (aka, their 'Bubbie's), but you might start to actually perk up when L.A. chefs Roxana Jullapat, Michah Wexler and Susan Feniger tell you that they love their grandmothers even more. And, of course, their grandmothers loved to cook. This interactive round-table discussion at the Skirball Cultural Center will focus on the food and family ties that surround everyone's favorite grandmother, with light tastings and wine to follow the conversation. You can even bring along your bubbie's favorite recipe for a chance to win a gift certificate to Mezze, Street or Cooks County.
