It's the big-screen version of some of the small-screen's greatest animations! The Alex Theatre in Glendale hosts the 3rd annual Greatest Cartoons Ever, a two-and-a-half hour barrage of the best in American animation. The clips range from Mickey Mouse to the original Superman, but all stem from last century's golden ages of animation and projected today in 355mm. The annual event is curated by Jerry Beck and the Alex Film Society, with the hope of preserving some of the great animation work that might otherwise be lost to history. There will also be a 2pm showing for children.
