Sticking around this weekend? Why not give yourself an early Christmas present, courtesy of 90's swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The Hollywood rockers will be bringing their big band noise to the Walt Disney Concert Hall with their upbeat reimaginings of popular holiday classics like Blue Christmas and Jingle Bells. While certainly not the traditional Christmas experience some may be looking for, the show promises to be full of energy and holiday cheer.

As a long time big bad voodoo daddy fan, I have a few bones to pick with your description. I've seen their Christmas show and it is quite musical and well balanced even including a beautiful "traditional" horn chorale on the classic melody "we three kings". Yes the show is often high energy, but I would hardly describe it as "Big Band Noise" I enjoyed their show very much and hope your description does not discourage anyone from experiencing this wonderful band.
