Mohawk Bend has already garnered praise for slinging their sizable vegan and vegetarian offerings to hordes of finicky Echo Park eaters. Now, their recent Meatless Mondays initiative is getting a boost from cookbook author Joseph Shuldiner. His latest work, Pure Vegan, has become a hit with those looking to live a healthier lifestyle, and the kitchen at Mohawk Bend is following suit. The $20 three-course meal will feature recipes from the book, and an extra $10 will get you a beer or cocktail pairing to go along with your meal. Diners can tack on $20 more for their own signed copy of Pure Vegan.
