Just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't start honing your gardening skills for the spring. Or perhaps you're new to the soil game and you'd like to know where to begin. This introductory organic gardening class from Netiya will teach you the basics, from plant selection to pest control and soil microbiology. The on-hand specialists will also be focusing on techniques and providing hands-on experience to participants. The class runs from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, December 16th and costs $18. However, space is limited, so registering in advance is required.
