It's been rainy lately, with temperatures dropping overnight. So what better excuse to step out for an evening of beer flights from Orange County's The Bruery. Mohawk Bend in Echo Park will be laying planks of tasters from The Bruery all night long tonight, each with a certain cold weather theme. The $15 set of brews includes their Loakal Red, which is normally only found on Orange County, and the 4 Calling Birds and 5 Golden Rings samplers from their larger 12 Days of Christmas series. Each Christmas ale packs a wallop at 11% ABV, alongside their monster 14% Cuir old ale. Now that winter is officially here, drinking yourself into a warm-weather mindset doesn't seem like such a bad idea.
