Throughout literary history, there have been plenty of writerly grudge matches and runs of bad blood - it just doesn't usually happen on the same stage, over the course of one night. Write Club is the long-running literary battle royale, with popular local authors pitted against one another in defense of opposing ideas. Each author receives 7 minutes to defend a predetermined position (this month's topics include Tact vs. Honesty, Rogue vs. Pack and Love vs. Lust. After both sides are heard, the unbiased audience determines a winner, while the literary loser wallows in self-pity and a drink or two.
