This Saturday, the Altadena Community Garden and Pasadena Learning Gardens are teaming up to provide a free workshop on all things roses. With spring nearing, now is the time to begin the process of understanding your garden, and perhaps beautifying your home landscape with a few rose bushes. This morning class will offer tips and advice on everything from planting and propagating to pruning and general rose bush maintenance. Master Gardener Mark Rice will be on hand to offer his insights, as well as local expert Elvira Smith. They politely ask that you bring your own gloves and clippers.
