As an enticement to a new generation of potential concert-goers, the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra returns with their Balcony Club initiative. The forward-thinking venture first began back in October, but returns on Saturday, January 12th to kick off the new year with guest violinist Elmar Oliviera. Attendees are encouraged to drink and enjoy the concert from the club via flatscreen televisions, and can even sneak into the Terrace Theater directly if they'd like to get closer to the action. Saturday's show is a compilation of pieces from Rossini, Debussy, and Saint-Saens.
