On Friday, January 25th, Wine Expo in Santa Monica will be hosting an all-out oyster party. The evening begins with a quick conversation with oyster master Christophe Happillon, as he discusses the distinct differences between different West Coast oysters. From there, diners will be able to purchase various oyster types (with traditional accompaniments) by the full or half dozen. In addition, Wine Expo will be supplying an array of wines to work well with the oysters, in addition to a compact selection of beers. The event itself is free, although reservations are suggested.
