This Friday, February 22nd, locals and tourists alike can get a taste of true Southern California chocolate at The Grove. See's Candies, a longtime L.A. operation with a factory right on La Cienega Blvd., is setting up shop at one of the most iconic shopping and dining destinations in the world. Since 1921, See's has provided millions of pounds of candies per year all over the country, using many of the same recipes since their very first day. In fact, the See's brand is so iconic that the I Love Lucy episode that features Lucy and Ethel working at a candy factory was inspired by See's.

Those in line for the grand opening on Friday at 11 a.m. will receive a raffle ticket to try to win a tour of the local chocolatier's factory, and everyone will receive complimentary candy samples all day long. There will also be a prize wheel, discounts, lollipops for the kids and See's own vintage delivery vehicles on display.
