For half a decade, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art has been the central home of the popular Iranian new year celebration known as Nowruz. This year, the Sunday event will help you avoid the St. Patrick's Day crowds with a mix of cultural celebrations and live performances. Throughout the LACMA grounds, families can enjoy stories, live performances by Rana Mansour and Erwin Khachikian and a display of the traditional Nowruz Haft Sin. Interested parties that would like to take in the world premiere of "The Dawn of Spring" by Shahin Yousefzamani would need to purchase separate tickets with the Bing Theater.
