Rancho Santa Ana director Bart O'Brien leads this discussion on the history of native California wildflowers.

From the website:

This talk will focus on some of our most popular native wildflowers and how they moved from the wild to home gardens from the late 1830's to about 1940. Many traveled to Europe and then back to California, while others came to us directly from a small number of early California nurseries.
