Garden designer John Lyons and artist Leigh Adams will teach attendees how to create unique sustainable gardens. The class also includes a visit to the Arboretum's Permasphere Garden.

From the event website:

[The] 4 hr program follows the step-by-step development of a unique water-harvesting garden in the foothills of Altadena--a now-thriving organic garden that blends fruit trees, native plants and storm water, a garden lush with flowering berms and rich with pollinators. An in depth examination and explanation of the vital necessity in creating great soil will be discussed.
