The Northeast L.A. Riverfront Collaborative has organized a family-friendly community bike and walk event for Saturday, April 27th, beginning at 4pm. For those who couldn't make CicLAvia's ride from downtown to the sea, the River Bike + Walk Spectacular plans to be a more intimate and coordinated event. Beginning at Marsh Park, families and bikers can enjoy riding and walking the river path, before enjoying educational activities, art displays and more at the community fair along the route. At 8pm, there will be a free screening of Beetlejuice outdoors at Marsh Park for anyone who shows up. All day long, people will be discussing better ways to maintain the river pathways and make sure the L.A. River remains a part of our city's future.
