LACMA's exhibit on the films, photographs and controversy surrounding famed director Stanley Kubrick.
In this wide-reaching assessment of director Stanley Kubrick's body of work, LACMA presents an archive's worth of material on view including:
a selection of annotated scripts, production photography, lenses and cameras, set models, costumes, and props.
In addition to the films you're sure to be aware of ('A Clockwork Orange,' '2001: A Space Odyssey,' 'Full Metal Jacket'), the exhibit also trains its eye on two unproduced Kubrick films: 'Napoleon' and 'The Aryan Papers.'
Check the LACMA website for more information.
The exhibit runs through June 30. LACMA is closed on Wednesdays.
