After a two-year, $45-million cleanup, Echo Park Lake will finally reopen to the public with new and improved landscaping, lighting, walkways and infrastructure.
On his Facebook page, City Councilman Eric Garcetti wrote, "I like to think that Echo Park Lake hasn't been surrounded by fence during construction, but has been within a cocoon transforming into something beautiful that will emerge on June 15!"
